Free beach wheelchair hire
The municipality provides free beach wheelchair hire to make the beach more easily accessible to disabled visitors. These wheelchairs are available all year round.
Summer season
During the summer season of 1 April to 1 October, you can hire a wheelchair from the following beach pavilions:
Winter season
During the winter season of 1 October to 1 April, you can hire a wheelchair from the following beach pavilions:
- Alexander Beach
- De Koele Costa (only possible with reservation by telephone number +31 6 83 99 60 04)
- Nederzandt
Beach ride with 'Strandrups' along the sea
